What Improvements do You Think Need to be Done to the ML Audio System?

I had a 2011 BMW 535i and thought that the HK system in that was leaps and bounds ahead of the ML in the F. That being said, I thought the ML in my GX and RX was a lot better than the ML in F. I gutted my system in the F and it's SO much better now. I'm 35 years old in a week and I don't want that boom, but just wanted to add some better lows and mids. Mission accomplished. And I agree with Meade on the numbers he threw out as far as distortion and sound leveling go. I didn't do a DSP, but I had it tuned accordingly with some nice instruments.

Thanks for the suggestion guys! Thanks for being so detailed Mead and Chris! I am used to listening to the more crisp versions of ML in my '10 RX350 and my moms '11 LS460L, so I am kind spoiled.
I don't if I'm only that thinks this but I think Lexus probably made the ML system in the F lighter to save weight or somethinng maybe thats why the sound quality doesn't keep up with the other ML systems in the other Lexus models....

I find that 42 on the volume is the prime spot for me. Its the loudest you can really go with out having huge amounts of distortion. I also do have a jl 12in w6v2 with 600 watts running to it in a ported box.
