With the 2013 on the website I'm getting really anxious and amped up to buy one!

We'd all love to see a Chevy style, "Yeah we put different cams in it and reworked the exhaust for another 20 hp" but I've never seen Toyota do this in the 30 years I've owned their cars.

Drivetrain changes would be shocking for Lexus. Toyota doesn't seem to have any interest in keeping up with the Joneses in the horsepower wars. They pick an engine, build it for the power they want for the chassis it goes in, and only rarely adjust power during the model's run.

Very true - I've only owned Toyotas/Lexus' and they rarely bump up HP and/or Tq ever and if they do they are very mild maybe 10 HP at most. Like Lubo said they usually wait until the next model run then do what they gotta do to it. for instance IS350 has had 306HP since 2006
meanwhile Infiniti gives you more and more HP almost every 2 years
