Question about brakes
Hey guys,
So I bought my 08 ISF 2 weeks ago and the dealer told me they replaced all 4 rotors and pads. I was a little skeptical because they rotor hubs are rusty but they sent me a copy of the work they did when they took it in on trade and sure enough it does have the right part number and says they replaced them all. What do you think could have caused the rust?? Will the hubs get like that from sitting out in the rain? I'm not sure how long it was on the lot.
Thanks

If the problem persists or it persists to be a problem to you, I would just take it back to the dealer and question them... Maybe the parts were replaced, but the fact that it doenst look like factory or new, it could of been replaced by cheaper parts to save the Dealer money and to make you believe they are legit, or a manufacture defect was installed ???

If your hub is rusty I can almost guarantee you those arent OEM rotors. They probably put some cheap *** centric or other make rotors on your car. The OEM ones have a painted hub with high temp paint. I never had a speck of rust on the hubs and I had OEM rotors for almost 2 years not to mention yours are supposedly brand new.....
