Default 2013 IS F front rotors/brakes

Last year, I had my brakes done at Lexus Dealership, replace rotors and pads on front brakes. Within 3-4 months, the rotors warped. I took it in and Lexus install new rotor (not pads). Now 3 months later the rotors is starting to warp again.

Question is why are they warping? I'd like to have some comments and suggestions or whatever before I take it in for the 3rd time.

Is it cheap rotors? Installed wrong (I doubt they can install it wrong twice)? Other possible issues?

Unless you track the car every weekend or drive really fast and stop at the last moment before a red light........I really don't see how the rotors can warp after 3 months. Beats me.

I've had my 2013 ISF brand new, 26,000 miles now and still the original rotors and pads.

Since you said the dealership, I'm assuming all OEM equipment is being used?

Did they check it with a micrometer? How does the car feel when you brake, does the steering shake?

Is the dealer telling you the rotors are warped? If it's vibration you're feeling, it's likely from uneven pad wear or deposits building up. Possibly a seized piston? I'd say that's more likely than a warped rotor, twice.

First off rotors don't warp. As posted above it is something else. I would say uneven pad wear causing uneven pad deposits on the rotor. Have you ever beaded in the brakes? If you aren't sure what that means, do a forum search and you'll see. Also there are many many threads on this forum concerning brakes.

If you're still unsure take your ISF to another dealer, your present one is obviously incompetent or take it to an expert brake shop.

+1 for pad deposits on rotor. This is super common. If you've ever done a hard stop, then left your brakes applied once they've heated up from the stop it will cause this (imagine when traffic grinds to a halt on the freeway).

The steering starts to shake after 3 months after the first replacement. Dealer said rotors warp so they replace with new ones. Now after 3 months, same issue coming back. I drive normal. No hard breaking or high speed braking.

Need more INPUTS so when I take it back I can give the damn dealer some suggestions to why steering wheels starting to shake again when brakes apply.

I would say excessive braking in long durations. I.e. Stop and go traffic or canyon driving.

There is a Lexus Service Bulletin L-TT-0212-16 titled Brake Vibration - Importance of Lug Nut Torque which covers this:

Front Brake Vibration Key Points:
-Issue can occur at any time if improper torque is applied on lug nuts
-Over time, even one lug nut over or under torqued, can cause a vibration issue
-When lug nuts are over torqued, this causes the rotor to have a runout out condition which can lead to brake vibration concerns
-Brake vibration issues can occur at parking lot to highway speeds
-Brake vibration issues can occur at light to moderate braking
-Tightening lug nuts in a star pattern method during the torqueing process will assure that even/equal pressure is applied across the rotor hub surface
-Torque sticks/wrenches should be used to apply accurate torque values when tightening
-Do Not use impact guns/ratchets to completely run lug nuts up to the wheel surface

I'd say you are paying for a disservice from your dealership. No brake should vibrate or shudder in 3k miles. Ever.

You have more than a brake problem if this keeps occurring bad hubs, buckled wheels, suspension out of wack or the same apprentice is working on your car and sell good used rotors on eBay haha, come on blind Freddy can work this out take it to a GOOD mechanic.
