KW V3 Coilovers on my 2008 ISF
Hi
I am getting Kw V3 coilovers on my 2008 ISF. Anyone already have the setup? Opinions? I am dropping it off this Friday at Sonic Motorsport in Bay Area. They are charging 2600$ total for everything out of the door.
Also what number of stiffness and ride height are you guys running it at?
Ash

My opinion is... they transform the car.
Ride quality, wheel control, bump absorbsion, turn-in, all are improved. I would recommend sticking with the default KW settings for a month or two to get used to them. After that I would start playing with the rebound and compression to fine tune your wants/needs.

I heard nothing but amazing things about the KWs. If I were to go for a coilover setup, I would be all over these. Like Hewitt mentioned, I think the price you're paying is a bit high. But I'm sure they will do a great job with the install.

I haven't driven the 11+ but it's funny you ask that because I had started a thread asking the same question...

IMO the KW's on an 08/09 should be an improvement over the 11+ stock setup. Just MO but the KW's are a more sophisticated piece of kit, let alone that they have full rebound/compression/ride height adjustability that the 11+ doesn't have.
I got mine for $2049 shipped from CL vendor Circuit Motorsports. Not sure if they're still offering them at that pricepoint but it's worth a shot.

Also, if you aren't installing them yourself I would highly recommend Tommy @ Musicbox in El Monte. I think he charged me less than $150 for the install.

Thanks! CR still have it. The price went up a bit, but its still the lowest one Ive seen so far. I'll be installing it myself. I'll just need help adjusting the suspension later on after I get the feel on the stock settings. I havent work on a car suspension yet with compression adjustment. This system really looks like a good choice. I should have got this KW first before the exhaust. lol.
Also, the KW's call for the stock tophats to be modified/trimmed, so if you aren't comfortable with that give Tommy a shout. He's done the ISF/KW install numerous times.

No problem. PM the rep from CM here at the forum and he may be able to sell them to you at the $2049 price based on you being a member here. That's how I got that price.
