You will be ok. These pads are good for everyday driving. If your going to go from 60-100mph and slam on brakes on every light, then go for a semi-metalic/carbon pad. The ceramic pads are not meant for "race applications", nor has anyone said that they were. These are for keeping your budget in order, and tackling the dust problem. By the way, I read that these pads are made by StopTech, but I cant confirm it yet.

Like most of us, I'm really getting tired of cleaning my wheels every Friday due to dust accumulation. My front brakes actually started to squeak this week. After reading this thread, I'm convince of purchasing the Wearever brake pads for front and rear. I'm ordering it today. Can't go wrong with the price.

I installed these Wearever Ceramics, front only, a few weeks ago. Since the install, I have developed the ugly rusty rings on the outer and inner perimeters of the rotors, as if the pads are not large enough to make contact with the entire rotor. Has anyone else experienced this with these front pads? Perhaps I did not bed them properly? Anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this problem? Thank you in advance.

Dealer installation will not avert this, it's caused by the size of the pads.

You got that right, one of the easiest setups on changing the pads out!!! I love it!
