Exclamation Motive Power Bleeder - IS-F Usage

Just a heads up, I tried using my Motive Power Bleeder with the Universal Adapter Kit on the IS-F and it didn't work very well.

The reason for this is that the space where the Master Cylinder Reservoir is very tight and the one brake line on the driver's side hits the hook and does not let it get a good seal. I was only able to get about 5psi built up until it would leak. If I want to use this in the future I will have to make a custom cap. I spent about 30 min tinkering with it.

I ended up gravity bleeding the brakes, it looks like it was the original fluid in the system. I removed almost all the fluid from the Reservoir and poured in new OEM Toyota DOT3 fluid. The fluid that came out of the calipers was more yellow than the new stuff (to be expected).

Another option is to buy some speed bleeders or a vacuum gun to suck the fluid out.
