i hear the same kinda thing . However, mine happens when I'm going to back into a spot and I'm still moving forward at like 1 mph and shift into reverse. I was wondering what it was also.

Mine only clunks when the tranny's cold, but everything is smooth as butter after things warm up.

Mine only cluncks or has an issue shiffting when cold also, otherwise great.

Has anyone noticed the down shift rev match into 5th gear is always the loudest of any gear? I love it.

do you all notice that when you first start driving your car when it is cold out that it does not want to down shift. It will go higher up in the rpm when your not pushing the pedal very far??

Mine clunks when warm too but only when I drop it in P. I have not seen any issues beside this.

I have a 1-2 clunk when hard shifting but other than that tranny shifts hard and fast chirping into 3rd with 285's. Once the trans is warm the car shifts like a dream. I only drive in manual mode, VSC off and Sport mode and have not had any stange sounds besides a tick tick sometimes when the car is first started and backing out of the spot in the am.

I had a noise similar to that and it ended up being my rear drive shaft was broke.

I really only noticed at first in low acceleration I would hear a clunk. So I took it to the dealer and they thought it was the rear brake pads and replaced them still had the noise. After a few weeks they had a master tech look at it and found that the rear drive shaft was broke and repaired under warranty.

Yeah, mine appears to be coming from the rear diff as well. There was a car in Russia i believe that had the same noise and the rear end went boom.

I suspected that... Did they change under warranty?
