Default TPMS Help....

Hey guys,
I've read all the TPMS threads I could find, but still not sure what to do...
Several months ago I purchased a set of 4 Pacific TPMS that were supposedly for Lexus/Toyota, etc. from a guy on here or Lexusfforum (can't remember). Anyway I recently had them installed in my winter tire/wheel setup on my Lexus IS F. I then took my car to lexus so they could "register" the TPMS to the car's computer, and they said they tried for an hour and were not successful in getting it to register because they were "aftermarket" TPMS. I know that people have used other TPMS besides OEM Lexus ones, (however I was under the impression these were OEM ones) I did notice prior to install that they did not have a 7 digit code on them but did have 2 different "codes" on them, (just not 7 digit ones). Does anybody have any insight on what they need to do to get them to work? (I tried e-mailing the guy I purchased them from several months ago, but message was "undeliverable".

I recently used Pacific TPMS and had no issues. Try taking them to Discount Tire, if there is one near your area. They program any compatible TPMS to your car for free. If you still have the model number of the TPMS that info might be helpful.

The OEM units will have a 7 digit transmitter id code imprinted on them above the bar code...

With out that 7 digit code the dealership will not be able to program them..

The OEM units look like the below. Each sensor will have a different 7 digit alpha-numeric sequence.

So even if it's a "Pacific" brand TPMS... if it has anything other than a 7 digit code then it DEFINITELY won't work???
