size of ISS forged exhaust tips
#4
I would have thought at least 3" but i could be wrong - could someone with the ISS Forged exhaust measure one of the tips? If possible could you measure the distance from the top edge all the way across to the bottom of the lower tip?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Top to bottom of outer most portion- 6"
Side to side of outer most portion - 7"
Tip diameter - 3 1/2"
Since they are arranged in a diagonal fashion there is some overlap similar to the OEM.

sweet - thanks for doing that. I should hopefully have my 2010 MM ISF here next week.. and one of the first mods planned is the muffler delete - should give me some noise and free up weight. It'll hopefully tide me over until i can save up and get a set of PPE and ISS forged exhaust. Anyway - I'm not a big fan of the exhaust diffuser (I know its by design) but I much prefer the look of the ISS forged exhaust tips sticking through the bumper I'm thinking of doing something like this through the rear fiffuser hole (ie fake ISS tips).

I was thinking about doing the same thing. I already had a cat back put together with magnaflows but they are just going to the stock tips. If you end up doing this please post some pics.

I tend to like real tips sticking through the bumper (such as the M3, M5, AMG's WRX\STI etc). I think it makes the car look a bit meaner and less of a sleeper.

No. Muffler delete = less restrictive = HP gain. How much, very trivial, probably a few HP. I did it for the sound more than anything, not to mention the car loses about 50-60lb. I also deleted the 2nd cats which also adds a few hp......and the car sounds like a beast. Keep in mind stainless steel piping was added in place.
