Back in 2010!
So, after barely a year and two cars later since ditching my 2008 IS-F, I am back.
Quick summary:
'08 IS-F ->
Used 2009(? - I don't even remember, honestly) Infiniti FX50S - kept for 2 months ->
new '10 Jaguar XF supercharged, had it just slightly more than a year (got it in August 2010) ->
New '10 IS-F in June!
I tried really hard to find a SGM but finally gave up and went for another obsidian. I love black, just keeping it clean.. argh!!!
I only have a few crappy phone pics right now, but I am pretty sure you all know what the IS-F looks like by this point anyway.
I won't waste the time noting every little change since 2008, although there are tons (minor, mostly). The biggest and by FAR best difference is the real LSD. Going from the '08 IS-F with no real LSD to the '10 XF Supercharged was an eye opener. The LSD in the Jaguar was amazing. Hopping into the '10 IS-F and driving the crap out of it, the car definitely handles better from a launch, heavy cornering, etc. Huge difference. Great change. Very happy. Hoping lexus will be able to trick it out with a hybrid diff like the Jaguar had.
Unfortunately the bone-jarring suspension is still present in the '2010, but I will hopefully be resolving that with coilovers in the near future...
Otherwise, the car is bone stock right now (besides tint); which is kind of weird.
That's all for now.. good to be back!

Welcome back! Funny..but a lot of people are coming back to the F after letting their 08 go.

Welcome back! I test drove the '10 to see how it compares to my '08, and I can understand your feeling on hard corners and from a dig. Definitely enjoy this F more so than the last!

Thanks for all the welcome backs! Feels good to be back.
Not likely. After being spoilt by the S/C in the XF I have realized i'd rather have the power all the time, or not at all Seeing as the likelihood of doing a turbo/S/C for the F is almost none, it will likely stay NA. I am liking the gains I am seeing from the Sikky headers though so might do that + exhaust down the road? TBD!
XF was by far the worst vehicle I have ever owned, bar none.
Gobs and gobs of power? Check
Handling? Check
Crazy high tech rear diff? Check
Reliability? "What?"
Build Quality? "Where?"
Customer service? ")(*!@#$%!"
Yup.. loving it... realizing every day the way it drives differently (mostly for the good) vs the 08.
I think my first step will be C.O's but can't decide. Also moved to a new area where anything below stock ride height is asking for trouble... but hate looking at the wheel-fender gap (and the atrocious stock ride quality)...
