Can't say that I have tried this product or seen a vehicle that has had it installed, but, given the nature of the brake pads i think one would be better served by placing a small amount of AC Delco silicone on the brake shims, and of the back side of the brake pads, this will act as a dampener and should quell any noise you are having. There are other products out there which claim to do the same thing this however is the one we have found that works and does not wash off after a few thousand miles. We have done a couple thousand brake jobs and I can't say I have ever seen one come back because of noise after using this product. It is also what I used on my IsF to stop the noise.

I think I'm going to give this AC Delco lube a shot. I recently had my front pads replaced with the Bobcats and I'm still getting a sqeek under very light braking, basically as I'm coming to a stop in the garage.

It's not a huge issue but just knowing that they squeek from time to time really bugs me.

I don't know why Lexus thought it would be okay to have brakes that squeal. I understand they're high performance brakes an all, but for an image-critical brand such as Lexus, I think it sends out the wrong message. The the average passerby that doesn't know the IS-F has Brembos is going to be off-put by the squeal. I think all he / she will remember is the nasty squeal and seeing the Lexus emblem.

I have a 2011 with 5K on it. I haven't noticed any brake squeal. Is this just an issue with the older models or does it begin after a certain number of miles?

I never had a squeak till 15k now its so annoying. I had the TSIB done and it did nothing at first but it seems to be getting better now that the new rear pads are breaking in.
