I can vouch from personal experience that this is all true. I used to park cars for "fun money" just after getting out of school. I remember seeing this 1967 Canary Yellow Corvette 427/390/4-speed/side pipes that got thrashed every time it was taken down stairs to be parked. The damn thing had studded snow tires on it fer chrissakes!
Please be careful next time you hand the keys to your ride over to an underpaid parking attendant.
