Chrome rims would need to come off in the winter. So you would need a backup rim/tire combo. Unless you are lucky enough not to have winter. Damn Californians.......San Diego-ites, San Diegans, San Diegoans???
Stay classy San Diego
forgetting about Hawaii .....not that i want chrome....but the polished silver looks really good....anyone wanna trade their neiman marcus isf wheels?
Perfect way to ruin the IS-F OEM "light weight" BBS wheel.....
Plating the wheel would not make any difference in performance. If you were to weigh the wheel after plating, I would bet there would not be any significant weight gain. I think black chrome would look interesting.
We call chrome stock wheels part of the "MLC package..."
(Mid Life Crisis)
Nobody under 45 is allowed to run factory wheels that are chrome.
Whew!! Just barley made the cut. I'm 44 and I like chrome. Since I'm officially in Mid Life Crisis I'm allowed.
I just bought chrome GS450h wheels from LA Wheel. I think they look pretty damn good but I'm smart enough not to post pictures and ask for comments cause I know how you young'ens feel about chrome.
