LC 500 One Take video......

The LC-F is rumored to have 600+ bhp via a twin-turbo 5L V8. I think the rumors will become reality in fairly short order. TTE has been testing the TMG TS-650 for quite some time now. I don't think the development and testing is for naught. Look here: http://www.motortrend.com/news/lexus...dy-kit-296323/
I can't find the reference but, some time ago, there was a brief discussion of future Lexus "F" cars and there was mention of a potential "FS" series of cars that would have versions of the V8 TT, much as Mercedes-AMG has, in the past, put the same motor in various C, E and S-class cars, sometimes with forced induction and sometimes without. While the article made no mention of the IS-F, it did indicate the RC-F and the GS-F could be candidates for the "FS" designation. I have always been a proponent of Lexus putting its top engines in various cars to better amortize costs and keep pricing within reason. Again, Mercedes-AMG is the king in this area. If Akio Toyoda is as serious about "F" cars as he appears to be, to me, this is the only logical, somewhat economical solution for future "F" and potential "FS" cars.

I kind of wish the rumors would have held true and they would have named it the SC 500. Love the idea of revitalizing the SC name after that horrendous SC430. Then the SCF with a twin turbo V8 would be the King of Lexus.

They obviously missed the mark on the Supra rumors...

I think the original concept of the Supra was pretty sweet, and had potential. Then I saw the images of the proposed one, and it's pretty much hideous. Toyota/Lexus has this "one-up" on the edginess design thing going that's taking everything way over the top. I know they want to depart from the bland category, but that isn't done by adding a million sharp edges to a every car lol.

I thought the same thing when I was at my local dealer getting some ISF parts, the LC looked awesome in person, was thinking a used one in 3 years might be the ticket.

I'm going to skip the LC500 though. Waiting on the LCF. Bet it'll be one sexy, mean beast.

Having an IS300 and ISF in the stable at the moment, I'd sell them both for an LCF. Promised the lady it's either that or when $BTC hits $10K per coin.

I've seen one other LC at a different Lexus dealership, the lady was with me and saw one for the first time. The lines are sexy, but that azz-end makes the car, IMO.

Very nice. Looks like Lexus of Tampa Bay. I'm kind of hesitant of going back there.
