The first thing you should do is scan the codes to see what the problem is. If it is indeed 02 related, your installer most likely damaged one or both O2 sensors, easy fix.

The O2 sims are to prevent a cel when deleting the primary cats, not the secondary cats. As several people have mentioned, deleting the secondary cats shouldn't cause a cel unless the O2s were damaged during the installation.

I understand what you've quoted there but like others have said, deleting secondary cats won't cause a CEL. Speaking from front to back, it's headers, o2 sensor, then secondary cats.. Your sensor wouldn't even know if you removed the secondary cat's. You either have an exhaust leak or when you reinstalled the o2 sensors you twisted the wires too many times or they've fouled.
Lots of us have secondary cat delete with no cel. Hope this helps.

I had the exact same issue after installing my Xforce Varex cat back. Happened about 3 times, usually once a month after disconnecting the battery to clear it (not the right solution i know but convenient for me at the time).
Anyway, after having my car tuned, it hasnt come back in about 5 months. So good excuse to get a tune :-)

Using our 02 conditioner, you can keep your check engine light (CEL) from activating. The 02 simulator may also be used with high flow secondary catalytic converters. High flow secondary cats keep your exhaust from smelling, but they will trigger a CEL because they are not as efficient (or restrictive) as factory catalytic converters. Our 02 conditioner is a dual channel model, and works with both secondary 02 sensors. Full wiring and adjustment instructions included. This has to be right I hope, this is from RR Racing site.

To me it's sort of clear that the second set of sensors got damaged when removed from the stock exhaust system and replaced into the new system. The OP needs to read the code and replace either one or both sensors. Also, with a CEL, first gear will be unavailable. You make think the card "runs fine" but it's running in limp mode.

If the O2,s were damaged wouldn't the CEL be on all the time ?? I did 350km,s before the light came on after the Xforce was fitted I cleared it,and them 300kms and cleared it again just wonder why a sensor would do this??
