960 HP in my garage (good bye ISF)
I recently purchased a new 2017 Porsche 911 Turbo! I figured it was time to get something crazy fun to drive (before I'm too old to enjoy it). It's grey of course!
I'm still breaking it in, and have to keep it under 4k RPM for the first 1,200 miles. After that, I'm looking forward to unleashing it, and seeing just how crazy the Sport Chrono system is (of course Porsche won't publish, or confirm just how much additional power the Sport Chrono over boost creates). I've read some data about the actual 0-60 of the 580HP 2017 Turbo S with Sport Chrono activated, is at 2.5 seconds (faster than the 2.8 claimed by Porsche). Since I'm only 540HP, I know I'll be a little slower. I can live with that.
Sadly, I'm going to sell the ISF. As I now have 4 cars, I don't think I'll be driving it that much, especially since I got a new toy to drive.
My ISF is listed for sale here in the member classifieds. Anyone wants it, make me an offer!

Thanks! I'm really enjoying this 911! Always wanted one. I almost bought a 911 turbo a few years back. I ordered one with all the options I wanted, but unfortunately I had to cancel my order at the last minute. That sucked! This time, it finally worked out!

Absolutely! Of course when I bought my 911, I joined a Porsche car club (PCA)! They are planning a meet there, hopefully with discounts from Porsche corporate. The going rate is around $800-900 for a new 911 Turbo, or 911 GT3 for two hours of intensive track time with a Porsche certified racing instructors to fine tune your driving skills. You drive their cars, not your own.
