I appreciate the opinions that's what thr post is for. Opinions. I have not owned a car of this caliber until the 08 I had l, so I wasn't aware of sports cars and reliability. Other than the 2002 Q45 I owned which I won't get into. Actually was a great car.

They made very few examples, we know this, but just throwing it out there, is the fact they had a small budget for this car costing in the long run? Just some thoughts and opinions
I bought my 2012 ISF 2 years ago, after watching the Lexus, BMW, Audi, Mercedes forums. So many Major problems with the other cars, and I know Toyotas.
My F has had no problems. I think most of the problems you are seeing on these forums are from the Mods. I see issues all the time with car in limp mode,

Sorry, just meant to say a lot of problems I see here are caused in some way by the bolt on mods. If you keep it stock, you will have no problems.
That said, I would sure like to have a Supercharger on this car. Hee Hee

From what I have searched in the last 3 months about pricing for an ISF. I noted that 2008 over 100k miles usually mark at 25k, and depending on condition price range 22-25k. It really hard to find an F without getting abuse.
Example: 2008 ISF has 100k miles extremely clean, carfax clean, well maintained at dealer, can go higher than 25k, probably 26-28k.
However, another 2008 ISF has 100k miles, was getting abuse A LOT, carfax clean, not well maintance, it will go under 25k, probably 22-24.5k.
Above is some F that I found near me, Virginia state.

They're in the classifieds, they're out there, what are you waiting on? What do you think they're worth if 25-30k is too much for an ISF? 15grand?? 20grand??

the point is you think they're special also, which is why your buying your "second" ISF. Allegedly....
.

And 25-30 grand is a big price difference. I do not think 25 grand is justifiable for 100k+ miles. So therefor I dont think 30k is lol. 22 grand for 100k well that is reasonable.

The way the op is acting, as well as his recent posts and recent change in screen name are the reason why he's on my ignore list....

Come on guys, don't fighting, everyone in this forum like a family.
I think Martin0617 just want to warn people that don't pay over price for a car that has marked too much over what it worth.
The ISF is a complete special car, I'm 100% agree, but that's not mean it should be mark 5-10k more from what it actually worth.
I think the people who want to buy an ISF they absolutely knew that what are they buying, that's why they are ready to spend 25-30k for a car that has over 50k miles, while they can buy a brand new car with 0 miles for the same price.
Some people just because they love their ISF so much that's why when they want to sell it, they mark it at a ridiculous price. Maybe they not 100% want to get rid of it or because their F is well maintained, well take care off, and not a big deal if it has 3-5k more than another one in the same year and miles.
If I own an ISF and I take really good care of it, when I sell it I will mark it more than market price 2-3k, and I believe that if the person buy it he will understand that 2-3k more than another one but at least he doesn't worry about issues.
The car above 3 months ago the seller mark it at 35,000$, and now it drops to 28,500$, which is a fair price, and I believe if the buyer bring 26.800$ fresh cash, they have 80% to drive the car home.

I've removed a number of posts with rude personal comments. Please Keep to the topic and don't go down that path again. To be clear, this request extends to the thread starter as well.

Mmartin61 must be a different guy (insert sarcasm).... even though he made a thread last week talking about the same kind of crap. About a 2008 that was overpriced with accidents on the carfax. Reading the history of your threads they're all along the same lines and comments back from early this year about buying an ISF, still hasn't found one good enough. But alledgedly owned one before earlier this year. Or maybe got confused which screen name was signing into to keep all the stories straight.

This thread seems like it needs to be closed. Of the OP has owned an F before, he should bknow the reliability of it. If he's been on this forum since 2013, he should have read hundreds of posts on reliability of the F.
It doesn't sound like you have all your ducks in a row to be buying this car honestly. Not many have an 08, sell it, then go search for another 08 with 100k on it as their next F...most move on to 2011/2012+ Fs. Just not adding up bro.
Good luck with your F search tho...

Go ahead and read... my first F had 100k on it. When did I say I was "searching" for an F with 100k on it?? Please share. You all are putting words in my mouth. Lol. You are %100 not correct. I am posting what I see. And show me a posting under my other name Martin61 or whoever that is. I certainly am dumbfounded by this comment as well.
