Just installed the coilovers - initially, the ride feels the same as the swift springs/stock struts. They are also very quiet overall. I have not driven it too aggressively so far, but I am sure the handling will be on par or slightly batter than before. Body control is great and it soaks up bumps well...very streetable.

Cool, thanks for the feedback! Looking forward to more feedback as you drive the car aggressively.....

Do you guys think they are approaching Ohlins quality or KW quality, or just slightly below them quality wise?

Here is a review of them from the Supra forums and one member has an ISF, don't know if it's Supraman here but he offers some good insight as well as the OP on the HKS hypermax IV coilovers:

What are the damping setting you're running?
So far, way better than the DGR. Still some unstable feeling on large bumps but probably not noticeable for most users.

Do you guys think that they the GT's are undersprung for an occasional track day vs the SP's that are more track focused/oriented?
Actually I don't know if HKS even makes the Hipermax IV SP for our application?

It's an ok kit for occasional track use but if it's your toy (not DD) you can easily go higher rates.
They don't do the SP but you can go +2 on the spring rates from factory at no charge.
It's a really smooth suspension, well damped.

So would that put the spring rates at 18k/12k? Then you can go with swift as an upgrade too correct with those spring rates?
I wonder if you go with the 18k/12k set-up if it will still ride smooth and retain the well dampened character of these coil overs since that's what HKS was aiming for with the GT's?
