Recommended Tracks in Tucson Phoenix Area
I going to be replacing my TEIN CS coil-overs with a set of Penske's and would like to find a place to enjoy my upgrade. Does anyone have recommendations on where I should go to test out my new suspension?
Thanks,
Jeff

Hey buddy, we have a decent selection right here in AZ.
There is Wild Horse Pass
1. Main track- uses a frag strip as main straight with decent infield twisties
2.West track- short and technical
3. East Track- longer and fun with some sweepers and chicanes
We also have Arizona Motor Sports Park ( off Camelback and 101 nice and wide, with great turns, and high quality new track surface), and INDE motor Sports Ranch ( 80 miles east of Tucson in the middle of nowhere A lot of fun with elevation changes and a lot of technical areas. Uses a runway as a straight ).
If you are willing to drive Chuckwalla is 250 miles west of us whereas INDE is 280 miles.
If you want to just keep it simple AMP and Wild Horse Pass are the easiest. AMP if you are west valley and WHP if you are east valley. Hope to see you out there.
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
Gratuitous track photos from AZ tracks and Chuckwizzle !

Thanks so much for the info. My plan is to start slow and easy. Get a understanding of the IS-F's dynamics and handling characteristics then move up from there. Right now I am a few levels above the guy that thinks "my car handles like it is on rails" and I want to become a driver that has a good understanding of the car's physics and apply that to the track.
