Default Recommending Honda Product For Your Lexus Squeeks

Hello CL,

If you have squeaky doors/trunks, sunfwoof or hood this product is definitely for you.

Ever since I purchased my car anytime I opened the door/trunk I would get this sticky feeling holding the door/trunk back, it also make squeaky noise. Well all that is gone. I literally forgot I had this tube which I bought years and years ago. Well I lubed up all of the door seals, hood/trunk, and even put some in the tracks of the sunroof and the sunroof seal itself, all the squeaking is gone, the door does not feel sticky like when opening.

I want to recommend this product to fellow cl'ers so if your feeling the same symptoms with sticky door and trunk or you hear squeaks, feel free to try the following:

Amazon.com: Honda Genuine Shin-Etsu Grease: Automotive Amazon.com: Honda Genuine Shin-Etsu Grease: Automotive

Basically you wear some gloves, apply some on the gloves and rub the grease onto the seals, you can also use this silicone to grease up the tracks of sunroof.

When I had my RSX, this was one of the things to do at a certain service interval, I think like 60k or something.

Yep, I bought a tube years ago and have about 50% left. This is the best lube you can buy for your car, no more sticky doors or trunk or any squeeky noise and it also prolongs the life of the rubber seals

I use it on all my hoses once a year. This along with with a bi-annual gummi pflege on all weatherstripping keeps these families of trims happy.

Yup I recommend this product too.

Used it this winter. Applied it once and still squeak free.

The last couple years I was using the 3m dry tape silicon and had to reapply it once in a while

Honda Shin-Etsu Silicone Grease 08798-9013 is also used as a conditioner for weatherstripping.
