Isf / rcf supercharger kit by j & k
After looking thru TOKYO AUTO SALON exhibitor list for 2016, i came upon this company called J & K that made a supercharger kit for the RCF and also works with the ISF.

Icode made a supercharger for the ISF years ago. How many kits are on stateside Fs? Zero... why....tuning tuning tuning. There have been so many threads about this option not working for stateside Fs. Yes I would love for this to work but dreaming is not reality. This is just like the twin turbo ISFs from years ago. Yeah looks great,sounds cool...but no proven results. I guess at this point threads like this are becoming comical.

Fs in Japan....hell yes it will work. Why...the ecus are not as encrypted as stateside Fs. The thread you copied and posted was about the possibilty of it working outside of Japan. Please do so research on how many companies have tried and failed to tune the F in the states. So yes its comical.

The mechanics of making an aftermarket forced induction system for the ISF have been cracked long ago. Fuel management is the issue. I don't know who in their right mind would run F/I on the ISF (or RCF) unless they had the ability to regulate fuel, unless they were just trying to prove a point that it could be done and had no regard for the near-certain damage they'd cause to their car.

I'm pretty well versed in the 2IS boosted car market, as i have a boosted IS250 and my fiancee has a HKS supercharged IS350... But a general question here, what stops the ISF from running low boost like the 2IS can? We have high compression and lean (stock) and the are able to run ~7.5psi before the engine stops getting the fuel it needs, and are able to gain close to ~100whp. I obviously dont have the ISF and dont closely monitor these boards, but what is stopping a similar low boost product from being a reality for the F?

Chargers do work, and can be made to fit in the engine bay with a lot of work (it looked like a lot of work in the photos I saw at least!).
Again, the gains were negligible for the outlay. Without the ability to correct/change the fuelling to match the blower etc, you don't gain much due to the ECU nannying the system so closely.
That's my understanding anyways!

if you have the money for this kit you should have just bought a faster car with better performance. I have seen SC kits go for 12-14k !!!! NUTS !!! That would put you in a whole other playing field
