I installed the toms strut bar, tighten everything down and noticed it was putting a lot of pressure on the engine cover on the drivers side. I had to push the ac line away from its original spot just so it can sit strait. I went for a drive and pulled back into my driveway and noticed a ticking/clunking sound as if it had a knock in the motor. I went ahead and removed the strut bar and it was gone! I need some info from anyone that has had fitment issues with the toms strut bar and what they did to resolve it. Thank you. Heres a video with the sound.
Mine's fine. Untighten everything on the bar and then attach it to the struts. Torque it down.
Then tighten up the rod pivots.
It shouldn't hit your engine cover and you don't need to move AC lines.
