Seeking knowledge on this car
Looking to pull the trigger on this car but I can't get any information from the auction house.
The side vents look unpainted. Would you guys assume that this was replaced and does it come unpainted from the factory? In addition, is that a factory front lip or an aftermarket piece?
Thanks..

I'd like to know how they got those 2006 2IS wheels to fit.

Its not a conversion, I have the VIN number on it. I plugged the VIN into Lexus Drivers website and it has a properly maintained history. I'm just confused as you guys are on the side vents. Question is if he wrapped it like that or they come from Lexus unpainted.. meaning he replaced them...
Regarding the wheels, I'm assuming it was a winter setup or took off his aftermarket and put on some cheapos..

It looks like it has Brembo brakes. Brembo brakes require IS F front hubs because the spacing is different, and the 2IS wheels were problematic with those hubs (if I am remembering correctly). As I recall it was easier to put the IS F wheels on a 2IS than it was to go the other way around.
Anyway, it's a Frankenstein. I wouldn't touch it unless it was stupid cheap, and maybe not even then.

Something is definitely strange about that car. I sold my is350 wheels when I got my F because of clearance issues. Last owner either bored out the front wheels or sanded down his calipers...
Here's a thread showing improper fitment.
