Tips and tricks for 1/4mile
Hey everybody,
Im new to this forum, just traded my 2014 IS350 f-sport for 2012 IS-F and wanted to ask about some tricks for the track , im from Europe so i mostly owned diesel cars such as 535d and E-class 350 bluetec , but never took those to the track. I also had a 2006 Charger SRT-8 with Hennessey SRT500 package, that was fun to drive back in the day, before i went to europe for last 6 years and now im back and got this Lexus , love the car , i owned 2008 GS460 , so i kinda knew what Lexus is about, but IS-F is just a car on its own.... Took it to the track, where i ran like 10 times and was getting mostly 13.3 and 107.--MPH one time i got down to 13.1 and 109.7MPH , but was hoping to breake into 12s , the car was driven with trac OFF, sport , and manual shifting shortly after beep , launched at 1800-2000 rpms .... Any sugestions how to get better times ? I know that headers, exhaust and intake will do it, but im sure stock car can do better than 13.1 ....
Thank u guys
