anybody beat Cobras from a dig?

Just did about 8 highway pulls with a mid 2000s saleen (4.6 supercharged)last week... Went from a 40 roll, 60 roll, 70, and 80 roll and not a single pull was close.....he had a minute llion excuses, after calling the F out. My only performance mod is Joe-Z exhaust.
I could be wrong, but highly doubt it would stand a chance from a dig either. Not sure on the newer saleen/cobras though. But alot of those newer stangs have traction/hooking issues from a dig on street tires.

Really depends on the model, year, mods, driver..........too many variables.
The older 5.0 Cobras (93-95), unless heavily modded, not hard since they come with 240 horsepower and about 285 lbs-ft.
The 96-2001 Cobra.....not a big deal either.
2003-2004 Cobra (Terminator) - that snake can bite you in the @$$.............easy 450+ RWHP with bolt ons and a tune.....some of them upgraded to Kenne Bell or Whipple or even Twin 57 or 60mm turbos.....with a good driver....well you get the idea.
Saleen has not produced serious cars up until recently. Most notably was their S351 back in the mid 90's, it would rape stock Vipers with 495 bhp, 5.8L with a Vortech S trim from Saleen. Their S281's aren't all that, it's a pumped up GT engine but still SOHC. Wait I think they had an S351 without the supercharger, those things made 371 horsepower.
Running into an S351 Saleen with a Vortech is probably as likely as running into Paris Hilton........they are rare, and very limited.
The new Saleens pack more punch with the Coyote motor, and they have a black series making 700 horsepower, again, rare car.
All in all, I think our cars have great chance, but you just never know what those guys might be packing.
Good luck!

I ran into a built Cobra just the other day. Hood scoop, exhaust, chick drivin' it. I decimated her twice from a stop at two consecutive stop lights. I thought this girl was the death of me by looks & sound. You just never know what you're getting with these cars.
