I've seen people post both gains and loses with intakes. I consider it negligible and/or a shift in the powerband.
I tried the K&N, Injen, and JoeZ pipe... The first two on the butt-dyno felt like there were loses down low, but gains up high. I enjoyed the sound so I was ok with that trade-off.

To me intakes on a car like this is more like kids putting playing cards in the bicycle spokes to make more noise. Thats all it is and thats fine. In fact I plan on adding one. For me, what's debatable is wether an exhaust is worth the noise, and droning for only a 4-5% increase in power
