Costco gas any good?

Costco gas any good?
Usually fill up at Chevron or Shell. However the draw of the cheaper Costco gas pumps is enticing.
The Costco near my house just had a gas station put in. I was once told newer stations are better because there's no accumulated sediment in the tanks which might get sucked up if their tank levels are low or if they just topped up (which results in stirred up sediment).
7 cents/L cheaper than local Chevron. (~26 cents/Gal)
Just to add to the complication: At Canadian Chevrons I put in 94 octane. I once tried 91 and never again because it felt noticeably more sluggish than when I had 94. If I cross the US border I get Chevron/Shell 92, which feels the same as Canadian Chevron 94. So the 7 cents/L difference here is actually more because Costco only has up to 91.
A long time ago I was told by a Honda mechanic to only get Chevron because their cleaning agent is the best. Not sure if it's the same now, since many companies claim to put cleaning agents in their gas now too. But not sure if Costco does. Probably not?
Anyone with more knowledge on the matter? TIA.

Majority of my fillups are at Costco on 93 octane, since it's close by and cheaper. My mileage is noticeably worse on Costco gas, but I have no performance issues. Noticed higher mileage when filling up on BP and other name brands. I know it's not a placebo because I notice it on the car's computer.
Also, there is definitely a performance difference between lower and higher octanes. I tested this on my DD, which takes 87 and 93.
