I'm not a big fan of the new IS's exterior. How should I put it... it's too sharp at the edges and trying to look way too sporty and muscular. Aaaand, dat V8 rumble! One of the most refined-yet-muscular car engine sounds out there! You will be sacrificing that, too.
All in all, OP, it depends on what and where you put your priorities. Performance? Design? Interior style? Are you willing to sacrifice performance for the new IS? Then.. by all means.
Obviously, by posting such question in the IS-F thread, the majority will say NO (including myself) but in the end, do what you think will make you HAPPY.

Im sorry I can not even take this thread seriously....The entire purpose and goal of the F was and is completely different than the IS350 F-sport.
To go from an ISF to a 350 Fsport is like going from an M3 to a 335 or a C63 to a C300
its is literally going in the reverse....I have never heard of such a thing???
I dont think anyone bought their F soley based on its looks
If this were for a new model ISF (when it comes out) compared to an older one then it would make sense, but a FSport to an F.
Really???
I commend this forum because posts like this usually catch fire pretty quick (FLAME ON) in less civilized forums.
Kudos to the F owners

ISF and LFA established Lexus' capability to make world class performance cars. Neither project was profitable, the purpose was to establish a benchmark, a reputation for the F Sport line. They don't put the F on F Sport vehicles, there is a smaller F Sport badge. If you own an F, you have a collectible vehicle, a vehicle manufactured at a loss to establish Lexus performance credibility.
