Default paint chips

So happy 4th of july!!!! so some one back up into my car and now i have a paint chip.. any one used dr.color chip? thank god i have a clear bra. no dent just a small little chip near my wheel well where these is no clear bra..maybe half a inch long a .01 cm thick.

I used it on my old car and it worked just as advertised. As long as it isn't excessively deep it'll fill in any scratch or chip and will be nearly unnoticeable. You would have to remember the precise location to find the flaw.

I found on a couple of larger, deeper chips, it wouldn't stick (it would rub off when you are wiping off the extra), but in that case you can use it as you would a normal touch-up paint. It won't come out perfect, but still 1000x better than a more noticeable paint chip.

thanks for the input guys. i think its also time for me to go full hood and full fenders on my car. any one recommend a particular person or shop in so.cal Orange county area? i check the so cal forum and could only find pplz in la.. if the person is the best i wouldnt mind the drive.

I saved a ton of money on my car because it had loads of paint chips. I just bought a touch up paint from the dealer and it did a reasonable job for only $12 or so. Painted the bad spots then applied a clear coat from pep boys which was like $6. That minor effort for saving $k's made me smile.

Quigleys in Lake Forest does great work. My F is their now getting the back bumper repainted after someone backed into me .
