Default Beeping Noise and Button in Handle Won't Lock the Car

Hello fellow IS F owners,

I seem to have encountered a problem this morning at work. I tried locking my car with the button on my handle, like I usually do, and it makes a long beeping noise and won't lock. I tried searching the forum about this issue but nothing really helped. I tried starting the car back up and moving it around, fully shutting off the car and then open my door but the beeping still occurred when I tried locking it with the button. I opened each door and closed them to make sure they weren't partial closed and still didn't work. I did notice that the trunk didn't open when I tried pushing the normal button to release the latch. I had to use the button on my remote to get it open.

Help.

Maybe the battery of the remote is low to cause the delay? Have you try changing a new battery?

Thanks KTeng7 for the response. That observation led to me using my spare which I had in my gym bag... Which I just threw in my trunk this morning. RC206 had the inside scoop on me for that comment... jerk. Haha

Yep i second that. Spare is in the car, or your sunroof is ajar. Seen that cause the warning tone before.
