Default Too Knew Wholes

It's been an excellent run of four years with not having a front license plate to mar the looksof my car's front end but, due to the superlative, no, down-right heroic, crime busting efforts of the Fairfax County police, I was forced to take drill to front bumer of my car to install the plate holder. And, for my efforts, I now have the priviledge of donating $50 to support county operations. In retrospect, it really doesn't look that bad with the front plate installed and I only see it when I am washing it.

They make a license plate holder that would screw into your front bumper's tow hook and you wouldn't of had to drill anything.

man the title is getting on my nerves... did you have auto correct on and posted from your phone? all three words are misused...

anyways, instead of the tow hook, you could've bought what's called "bungee bolts" and mounted the plate nicely on the lower grill but that of course will reduce air flow to the condensor but yet no need to drill...

The thread title makes me severely discontent.

To the OP. I'm sorry to hear about the holes man. I know that feeling you speak of. I had to drill into my 350z back when I had it. It wasn't my proudest moment.

I usually correct brake & break when I see them, but this one was so clearly intentional that I left it alone and just chuckled.

Default Zip Ties

After getting several warnings from the local constabulary, and one demand for a contribution to the county coffers, I ended up using plastic zip ties, and zip tied my plate to the lower grill. Cali law only requires that it be more than 12 inches off the ground, and front facing. Met both requirements, and no holes.

Well, since the topic moved to grammar, i would like to point out:
"could of" and "would of"??
it's could have and would have! when spoken.. could've and would've..
And, back to topic- i also was coerced into a front plate install by NY lawmen.

Let's not turn this into a grammar thread. U dn't no how ir8 it gets me.

The relevant California code does say more than just 12" off the ground.
