Ipod/Iphone Connector and BT
Ok, I use the Ipod/Iphone connector to charge my phone while Im in the car, and then use BT to play audio. This is because the Ipod/Iphone connector won't play music through the Spotify App that I use. But it the audio system constantly keeps switching to the Ipod app on my phone instead of continuing to play the Spotify App. Is there a way to solve this? When I don't connect it to the cord, the BT works perfectly with the Spotify App.
Also, is there a way to make it so you don't have to reconnect your phone all the time to the BT audio? Thanks!

I believe u can change your settings to have the BT automatically connect your phone everytime you start up. It automatically connects my BT to my iPhone everytime.
As for your audio question, I'm assuming u don't have the iPod integration kit for your car? If u had that, it should play the audio blue toothless so u won't have to worry about the audio disconnecting from your bluetooth.

Well it does play audio wirelessly through BT. But I connect it as well b/c I want to charge my phone at the same time. But when I do so, it changes to playing my Ipod songs instead of the Spotify songs. Its irritating. And it usually does it after about 20-30 seconds of playing the Spotify song, then fades out and into the Ipod ones.

2010 and up Fs have newer generation nav that has bluetooth audio capability. To answer your question, i def. have noticed that on my 2011 as well however, once it goes to ipod connection mode (USB), i disconnect the cable, switch to bluetooth audio mode and reconnect the cable..It doesn't automatically switch to USB mode once bluetooth audio is playing.
