Anyone have the Lexus Black Pearl Emblems and the Carson Tuned Black Pearly Grill Grim? I am wondering how well they match or if I want them to match if I need to get the Carson Tuned Emblems as well. Only wondering since the Carson Tuned emblem set costs $211 more than the factory set.
I have the black pearl grill with the black chrome emblems or vice versa. TO me they look very similar and I can't tell. Follow the link for pics on USB. IMO, if your wallet can take the hit they are both worth the it in the long run. To each his own.
She said that she bargained to have it substituted before she took delivery. But Sewell's price still looks to be the best price listed as an add on. The plasti-dip look really good and it holds up well from the members' rides I've seen.
After seeing a local's silver isf (Scott) with the real deal emblems I have got to order them for the F. They made such a big difference in person.
^^I agree. I plasti-dipped my emblems (before I went the BP route) and they looked good. But, I decided that I wanted the black pearl after seeing the BP emblems on a few other members' rides. I put them on and couldn't be happier. They really look amazing in person.
You can get PlastiDip at Home Depot or Lowes. I bought a can of spray paint for $5 and did it myself. But then you need to put more time in removing the emblems, painting, waiting, and putting them back. But it's worth not paying hundreds of dollars for emblems...
Go with plastidip for the front grille surround and purchase the black pearl emblem set from sewell. Do not attempt to paint the emblems unless you use the whole "electrolysis" process to remove the paint.
