Default Wouldn't hear them squeak even if they did!

I'm thinking maybe I just need to figure out an easy way for me to actually bed in the rear brakes rather than bothering with the LSB if it didn't work for a lot of people.
Mine don't squeal as the ML is cranked too loud all the time.

lobuxracer, would you be kind enought to spell out the procedure you followed for bedding in your rear pads (I've seen so many variations from different manufactuers).

I bedded mine on jack stands this weekend based on guidance from Lobuxracer. (Thanks) Helped a lot but there is still a little bit of a squeak that I can live with.

How I did it. Blocked front wheels. Lifted rear of car with floor jack on center differential. Placed jack stand under the lower A-arm inboard pivot point on either side. Turned off VSC. Placed the car in drive and ran the motor up to ~2,000 rpm in 4th gear (60mph shown on speedo) while holding brake pedal down with moderate pressure. Once I could smell hot brakes I let off the brake and allowed the wheels to continue to spin freely to cool for ~5 min. I repeated the procedure one more time. The rotors now have a nice "gray" color on the pad swept area where pad material has transfered its self to the rotor.

Make sure to do the cooling off step and do not set the parking brake once you bring the wheels to a stop.

Your engine will like you better if you raise front and rear so it's closer to level. Otherwise, this is about the only way you'll get decent pad transfer short of going to a road course.

Well, Longo replaced all 4 pads from my badly squeal brakes under LSB 004311 (Front pads and shims) and LSB 004410 (Rear pads and shims). Kudos to Clem Cisneros and the Tech.

Get your new front brake pads if you can live with the dusts.

Anyone have a copy of the TSB or know what years it applies to? The original link doesn't work.

According to the below thread, it was for 2008-2011. If I recall, the pads were revised in 2012. Regarding to your brake noises/squealing, do a few brake bed-in and hopefully, it will rid of the noises. If not, take it in and demand for warranty work (as long the noises are persistent, not intermittent).
