What is the part number of the Lexus unit? I went by the dealer and they had two different "2010 LSD's"

LE41110-53270 (early production 2010) = $2,500.33
LE41110-53290 (late production 2010) = $4,719.24

Atleast that is what they told me...does anyone have the Lexus part number?

today I'll try to ask my dealer about all this...maybe in USA early 2010 was still not Torsen type LSD so it would explain...

Are you talking the entire differential (case and all) or just the spool?

At that kind of pricing, the alternatives sound better...

If there were an aftermarket for a used unit, I'd spring for the "built by Lexus" option, but I can't see anyone buying a non-Torsen unit...

I think I need to find out if I can get just the spool...it's hard to imagine they're not selling the guts individually since the FSM has complete instructions for rebuilding the unit.

The Torsen spool part number or "CASE SUB-ASSY DIFFE"
is 41301-53050 MSRP $3,933

or $2,766 online discounted

^This part number is a maybe, since I'm not looking at pics right now.

So getting the whole thing is a no brainer at this price point..

Wow. Spool price is more than the whole unit for a 2008-9 F. Ouch.

We used to have the same problem with the IS300's back in the day..

For the IS300 the actual Torsen Spool cost more than an entire Differential Assembly with the Tosen LSD unit in it.

Joe - yessir, I'm BACKKKKKKK!

So it looks like $3k for the whole rear end and the dealer quoted me $1,300 for the labor...I got the car for such a good deal I might just go for it! Has anyone confirmed that VSC/VDC/CCC/BBB/DDD will all work with the 2010 rear end?

^^ Nothing solid yet... just some theories that we "should" be ok..

The 2010's come with an updated SKID CONTROL ECU which is related to the fact that they installed the Torsen LSD.
