Disappeared? Not really. They did unveil the latest iteration of the Project:IS-F at SEMA last November, with the newer, more powerful NA V8.

FiveAxis is constantly working (they're actually already working on a project for this year's SEMA show). You have to consider the hundreds of man hours that go into all of these concept cars - from design, to planning, to building, it takes a long time to get these projects done. They've also been concentrating on the new line of wheels they just unveiled, the Five:AD line. Also, due to popular request, they've just announced a limited run of the ISx50 front lips, available through Carson.

Maybe disappeared is exaggerating. I do understand the hours it takes to put forward certain products. Just remember prior to SEMA they were developing all sorts of products for "Project ISF". Not bashing or anything I was just curious if anybody had heard of any products they were working on for the ISF. And I'm definitely looking forward to them.

No offence to anyone involved in the five axis IS-F, but that is the most butt ugly IS-F to date...

Sure, I understand. It's just that the nature of what FiveAxis does puts them in the spotlight only once or twice a year. They've made a name for themselves creating and fabricating concept cars, and only recently started making production items that are publicly available. Also, keep in mind that the Project:IS-F was never meant to be a show of publicly available merchandise - it was a major tool Toyota/Lexus used in stating their performance aspirations and aftermarket support with the IS-F, and simultaneously signaled a design direction for elements that could make their way into future production items.
