snows on---no more fun for a bit
Here are the snows michelin Xice 225/45/R18 all the way around. Wheels are 17lbs Kosei K1TS racing wheels. So far, they are totally mushy and the car has teh typical trouble accelerating and braking, but they are super snuggly after all. Should get me through the winter just fine. I also had a chance to test fit my 19x8 OZ superleggera III's. They looks so small now and they just barely clear the brakes. I am not sure about the rear haha.

If I was not in sales, I would rock the 4runner no problem. It only takes a minutes to smell like exhasut though with the 350 carb. V8 in it. The ISF will be fine. Never had a problem in my Gen1....just keep it careful.
EDIT: Oh, I bet you thought my wife's car was the 4runner. She drives that I have a 1990 4runner with a long travel IFS haha.

No TPMS? The funny thing is that the Kosei with snow tires are probably a good 5+ pounds lighter per wheel which could actually make you faster in a straight line! BUT, you don't want to wear out the treads on snows. I'm waiting until near Thanksgiving time.

nope, no TPMS and not warning lights either. Even if the wheels are lighter, there is no way to get any traction with these tires haha. The reason I bought them with wheels was for a good set of track 18's if I need them. Everything has a purpose in my garage.
