IS-F owners: Miles & Service
Hi everyone
I am curious to see how many miles everyone has gotten on their IS-F's so far? I currently have 1,590, and I have had mine since February 6th
also, has anyone had to take their car in for any type of warranty service (not 1,000 mile service, oil change, etc) but actual service such as electronics failure, lights, etc?
I have not had to take mine in (yet), luckily
Nick

Mine is a few weeks older and have about 1600 miles. No warranty work, thankfully. Did do the 1000 mile service and had the dealer do my first oil change. There was confusion about the correct oil. In the end, got the 5W30 synthetic. At first, the dealer thought the car took the same zero weight as the LS460. I do have a rattle coming from the Navigation area. It seems to expand in the sun, while parked. After I drive a few minutes with the air on, it shrinks down and the rattle is gone. It is, however annoying. All else is excellent. Love the car.

I'm pushing 2500 miles. Had my tire pressure gauge go off one time about a week after purchase. Went to dealer and I guess my tires were just low.
Last week on the way back to school I was driving and listening to a CD, it stopped playing and my speakers all stop working. My phone sync was still working but nothing would come out of the speakers. The buttons were even froze almost like a frozen computer screen if you will. I pulled over, shut off the car, restarted a minute later. Problem solved.
Nothing major though. Knock on wood.

I miss the the weather in Hawaii. I'm just starting to drive mine with the snow finally gone and you still have less miles then I do. I'm having a hard time not driving it, but with Spring here, my other horses are coming out of hibernation now.

Did you do the oil change yourself, and if so, is the procedure the same as on the IS 350 with just more oil? Is the oil filter element the same as used on the IS 350?

Had mine since March, I have 1600 miles and I've done the 1000 mile service. I got a nail in one of my tires thank goodness I purchased the road hazard program so the dealer took care of it during service. Speaking of tires are the michelin pilot sports better then the potenzas???
