My different exhaust setups with vids

Speechless...
The headers along with secondary cats and mufflers sounds absolutely out of this world.
I am so tempted to do this....the Joe z exhaust with headers sounds great too.
I am sure it sounds even better in person.
Thanks for putting up the vids.

I believe the Joe Z gives a LOT of volume with the headers, but in more of a controllable fashion. You can live with it and tame it down when you want. That's not to say there isn't some boominess going on, because it's definitely there. I can't comment on Joe Z without headers though, but I belive most people say it's more tame by itself.

Congratulations on finally getting it all done...
It’s amazing on how in each of your phases, the videos clearly show and let you hear the real differences....
Without a doubt the last set up you have achieved, is the most properly tuned sound wise and legit power delivery...
Enjoy,

PPE Headers with PTS Joe Z Exhaust (sorry my little girl got excited ):
2011 Lexus IS-F PPE Headers with PTS Joe Z Exhaust - YouTube
I really like the Joe Z Exhaust and it is VERY loud in conjunction with the headers. It does drone about the same amount as the deleted 2nd cats and mufflers mod. It's livable, but I can definitely see why people would go with the Borla first (and I haven't heard it). I believe the volume is louder now than the deleted mod, but the drone is about the same. It will rattle the interior. I'm a happy camper with this setup and must say the quality of the Joe Z is an A+! Outstanding craftsmanship. In conclusion, the car sounds like a beast and will without a doubt turn heads, but it's not obnoxious like the headers with basically straight pipes. I hope this comparison helps some of you out!

I have to say thanks Joe for keeping me updated on the delivery of the pipes! You're right about my final step in this process and I'm constantly smiling from ear to ear when driving the car. By the way, when all the people at Nissan walked by and saw the exhaust sitting in the floor they were shocked by the quality. It's almost mirror like. One guy walked by and said, "I see you bought cheap eBay exhaust," as he was just shaking his head at what was laying on the ground. Made me feel good about dropping the money on this system. I haven't even mentioned how insane this car pulls now! It gives you that certain feeling in your stomach. I feel like my car is brand new all over again after just over a year of buying it brand new.
