I dont know they say that they sell 3 stages of this exhaust (from what little i can understand) looks like they have axel back, then mid section. and full exhaust.. (with some back pressure reducing design or somthing like that) and it look like on the dyno they say they end up with 389ps
anyone have any more info on this or someother page that will translate because for some reason the one I have is not working for this page..

by the way 389ps = 383HP so its still pretty good just on exhaust alone... i know depends on the dyno.. but looks tempting......and i think ive only seen one dyno at 380hp with more mods than just the exhasut.

what ya think guys

I just installed my K&N typhoon. I can tell you that one of the advantages that K&N claims is the cold air aspect of it. that's a bunch of crap. they should call it the K&N hot air intake. I installed one and drove 50 miles. then popped the hood and felt the intake. the tube will be hot of course. But I thought the cone would be not as hot since its behind the heat shield. Not so. the heat shield has so much hot air wash that it really isn't doing anything. I had to add extra weather stripping on the top and bottom to seal it up and I added a plastic shield near the strut tower with some gorilla tape to stop the hot air wash. I also modified the little 90 degree plastic piece on the "ram air" intake to work with the cone filter. Then I drove it again and felt the cone filter. VERY cool compared to the tube. it just takes some additional modifying, but stock form, the k&n typhoon is not a cold air like claimed.

Usually u order it with vendors that also carries Tom's products, body kit and performances from Tom's.

Joez exhaust and intake are favorite here.

Cars are already tuned by the Japanese experts. Just add headers and exhaust to get rid of the cats and your good to go!!!
