On another note, I just noticed alot of factory parts on Ebay, so the people wanting FOGS for conversions, here is your chance. For some reason there is A LOT of mirrors.

Hello all! I'm new here, but not new to lexus! My family's had a lexus for the past 17 years! Thats right we've bought lexus cars since they started business! We've had a 1993 LS400, 1995 LS400, 2005 LS430, and finally the IS350C! <--mine! (will post pics soon...but its just a stock model...so no fangly stuff AHAHAHA). Love the car so much... but I've been having some really weird issues with it:
1. "whining seats": When I adjust the recline, or move the seats forward to let people into the back the chairs squeak and squeal so much!
2. rattling top: My convertible top shudders and rattles...but only on cold day :/
3. Trunk: MY TRUNK DOESNT OPEN AT ALL ANYMORE WTF?!?!?! will go to dealerships soon for that.
Does anyone else have similar issues?

I can relate to you on issue#1. I experienced the "whining seat" on my driver's side after 5 months of owning the car. I took it to the dealership and they added some lubrication. It was free of charge since it is covered under my basic warranty.

Thanks Mike. Taking notes, PS2 and Sways.
F-sport springs + F-sport shocks + Michelin PS2s = (although I also have the sways)
Makes for a very nice cruiser, that does handle well. No, it doesn't handle like it's on rails like a GTI, but it doesn't have the harsh ride as a GTI either.
I will say that I very disliked the way the car handled stock......a lot due to the stock Bridgestone all-seasons. I immediately put on my set of PS2s from my prior IS350 sedan and noticed a nice upgrade in just that upgrade.
Also, I did the F-sport sways almost immediately as well, which helped a lot.
I just recently did the springs/shocks, and I will say that it did a good job lowering the car (appearance wise) with just an ever-so-slight change in ride quality (and that's cause I'm being a little nit-picky). Now it rides like it should: a sporty luxury car
And again, it rides like a lexus compared to a new VW GTI

Hi Guys,
I am thinking about install clear bra on my IS 250C. The paint seems to be soft, prone to chip. Is it a good idea? If anyone has done it in SoCal, could you please PM me your shop?
Thanks,
Kevin
