tear in drivers side carpet
Thoughts on how hard of a fix this would be, if possible?
not sure why it bugs me. What's even crazier is that foot rest is all styrofoam underneath

That's surely odd. Did you get the car new? I would not expect that to happen in any car. I had a 1987 3-Series with 240,000 miles with perfect carpet. Thick, plush, bulletproof. how does this happen on a new car? I wonder if maybe a high heel user or some other driver with rough shoes somehow stabbed it? even then.. i dont get it.

That's surely odd. Did you get the car new? I would not expect that to happen in any car. I had a 1987 3-Series with 240,000 miles with perfect carpet. Thick, plush, bulletproof. how does this happen on a new car? I wonder if maybe a high heel user or some other driver with rough shoes somehow stabbed it? even then.. i dont get it.
