should work.. i'm more interested in the diffuser. i think the swap doesn't have to involve moving the rear bumper as many said. i looked at mine.. seems like it can be done from underneathe.

Pole Position
if they're plug-and-play, i might consider the swap. i'd have to see them in person before i'd take the leap, though. the '14-'16 rear tail lights illuminate nicely. i'm assuming the new ones do as well, but i'd still want to see them in person.

That's crazy. I never saw them actually lit up lol but yeah I think i'll just be sticking with my tail lights. They look more aggressive than they do now

I think what throws the '17 taillights off for me is how they sort of stick out from the side of the car. Otherwise I do kind of like how they are slimmer and that there are three distinct lines. Meh. I've got a '16 so I think I am fine with them.

BTW the '17+ is still the 3rd Gen IS - it's just a styling refresh.
I've seen quite a few posts referring to the '17's as 4IS, which it is not.

After seeing the pics together, like the pre-refresh better. The new design looks fine but extending the red all the way out past the body looks out of place for some reason, less noticeable with the clear turn signals on the 14-16's. What part illuminates with the brake lights?
