New to forum and opinion
Hi everyone,
My name is Stephani and I'm new to the forums! I'm looking to buy a IS350 and am looking currently at the 2 options below. The first link is through a lexus dealership and is certified with 40,398 miles . The second link is through a chevrolet dealership but the car only has 22,616 miles. Is the certified worth it? Any feedback would be great! Thanks everyone

Thanks for responding! Yeah, they both are the same exact car but just seems weird or shady to me that the mileage is almost half but yet so close in price.
If it were you, would you be more inclined to go with the one at the chevrolet dealership? Crazy how big the mileage difference is and price points.
Thanks in advance!

I would probably go with the certified car. I don't think the 20k extra miles will really matter as long as all maintenance has been performed to date. And an extended warranty to 11/2020 With no mileage limitation sounds really nice. See if you can get the price down some.

I would not buy the car from the Chevy dealer without a thorough independent inspection. It may have been crashed. I would look at Carfax to see if there's major collision repair work noted, but then would not trust a clean Carfax. If Carfax shows major repair work, I would keep shopping and if it doesn't, I would have it inspected.

I bought my car in Toronto from a Chrysler dealership. It had 12k KM on it for $44K. Lexus of Downtown Toronto had the same car but with 24k KM for the same price. It was a no brainier for me. No accidents, same package, same warranty.
If there was a problem, I would know by now and it would be covered under the warranty.
My advice to you, if the cheaper car has no accidents go with that. We are talking about the most reliable car maker here, at this mileage L certification doesn't have as much value.
