Talking IS200t F Sport Front Brakes

Hi All!

Been searching the threads and havent been able to find anything related to the IS200t F Sport Brake Pads. Anyone out there change those yet, or know if they're the same as the 2015 IS250 F Sport? I really hate how much brake dust these front pads give out and was thinking of just upgrading but wanted to see if any of you have already gone down this road or not. I found some pads on CarID.com but not sure if anyone has tried them yet, and the lack of reviews makes me wonder if it's worth gambling 50+ to end up in the same boat as before. My brake performance is fine, it's the dust that drives me up a wall!

Thanks in advance!!

IS200t has same brakes as the IS350 models

IS250 got the puny brakes calipers up front and glad they didnt bring them to the IS200t

It appears the MY17 200t's got the 250 brakes so it seems that they'll have smaller brakes moving forward. My only concern if brakes that fit the F-Sport also fit non-F's as I'm not sure if it's purely a pad difference.

Interesting. Just did some digging on the Lexus website, it appears that non-F's get 250 brakes whereas the F-sports get 350 brakes. I like that they differentiate that way as now it gives more incentive to get an F-Sport.

Nevermind that thought
just finally saw a 2017 non-fsport IS200t today on the road. it had the bigger 1 piece caliper.

Who knows until we see more on the road, can only speculate

I have a 2017 IS200T base and it's the same caliper as the F Sport models.

FRONT :

IS200T ( ALL models ) + IS350 ( ALL models ) use the same rotors + pads.

REAR :

IS250 ( ALL models ) + IS200T ( ALL models ) + IS350 ( ALL models ) use the same rotors + pads

Hope this info helps y'all.
