I am looking to pick up a used IS 350. There are a lot more F Sport 2s around than 3s. I really wanted a good stereo though. Is there a huge difference? Thanks.

F sport 3 package includes ML.

Everyone has there own opinion but I think the ML is worth the extra and sounds quite awesome for a stock system

I have a 3 series f sport 2015 with ML and it's totally worth it, one of the best audio systems I have had in my cars. My 2 cents!!

From my experience, non-ML system has a bit of a deeper and muffle tone to it. Whereas, the ML system more crisp and has better clarity when it comes to vocals.

Bass however, is more or less the same.

Your're buying a ~50k on the car, might as well go all out lol

My mom also has a 2016 Executive 3IS and I hate driving it due to the stock system.

I think the ML system is worth it the upgrade. Have it in my car and it's better than most cars in the price range.

The ML in the 3IS is better than I had in my 6ES. I really think it is worth the upgrade

I am sure it will always be debated. but the ML audio is the main reason why I bought a 2016 IS 300. My wife is so picky when it comes to sound that it isnt funny. so as I was cross shopping Q50, TLX, none was better than the ML. We even tried the B&O Audis while it was also impressive, ML was one slight notch better.

personally I think the ML is better than anything I have heard in car audio. I am sure there are better, but for the price I paid, the ones that are better are cars with a ticket price over 100k

So for the price difference, I cant imagine anyone not opting for this option.

also more often than not, my wife says the sweet spot is to sit dead center in the back seats. what use to be live music tracks we use to skip now we listen to everyone one of them. Yes the sound is that good.

I have an F Sport IS250. I'm happy with the sound system. Keep in mind that if your source, music quality, and EQ all play a part on how good your system will sound. Depending on the type of music or mood that you are in enabling and disabling the Surround on the car makes a huge difference. And if you have the ability to equalize the source "phone" turn the treble up on the so you don't have to jack it up to high oh the car.

ML is much superior given you have a good music source (256, 320 kbps mp3 or better)
The ML sounds more crisp and clearer than the Premium Audio.

The ML system and the Performance Exhaust are the best upgrades I chose for the IS 350. Love to listen to them both every time I drive. I recently cut down my work commute time from 40 minutes to 10 minutes and I actually miss those 30 extra minutes in the car.

FYI. The IS 250 did not have ML audio in Canada.
