Hi everybody,

I take delivery of my new 2016 IS300 tomorrow.

Here in Canada it is optioned with the F-Sport 3 pkg which has a rear power sunshade.

I was looking to order a blackvue DR650S - 2CH (with rear camera) but I wasn't sure if the power sunshade would interview with the positioning of the rear cam?

Does anybody have a rear dashcam installed on their car that has a rear power sunshade? Any problems? Is it even possible?

I do not have a rear sunshade but I did install a Blackvue 2 channels on a 3is with no rear sunshade for a buddy of mine. I think the mounting point of the rear dash cam would block the sunshade for sure as I believe the sunshade would go all the way up to where the roof linear is but I'm not 100% sure.

I think you can install the rear dash cam and shall work with rear power sunshade

I can give you my car VIN number if you want to get the rear camera parts number out of it !!

i think you are mixing rear dash camera (DVR recorder) and reverse backup camera as the same.
