That's total bs. The military wouldn't announce that they took out a satellite. Sounds like some asshat dealer being cute.

Oh wow. Yeah this happened to me this afternoon. I thought it must have been because it's been so hot lately (use to happen to my bmw e60).

Called my local dealership and once I said I have an IS250, they interrupted me and said "the navigation?". So apparently it's widespread to them. She was surprised to see that my 2014 is having the issue because she was told it was only affecting 2015 and 2016 models.

Said I would need to do a system reboot which would take about 30 minutes at the dealer.

From Lexus Corporate:

One of our partner suppliers conducted an update to our radio (which is not unusual) that has caused a problem to the navigation system. We are aware of the problem and are working on a fix now. This is not a cyber attack.

If an update broke it, it will interesting to see how they fix it. Can they remotely update a radio that is in a constant reboot loop?

Will this fix need a dealer to do? I ask because I don't have any nearby and I'm near one today only since I'm at work conference.

No specifics yet. Looks like they only just identified the root cause

Do you might turning your car on and off? Some people in the beginning of this thread mentioned that it's only a temporary fix.

Mine worked this morning too (around 10 AM PST). It was the second time (noon) I started it that I ran into problems

Happened to me this morning as well and drove it over to Riverside. The tech just unhooked the battery and reconnected while I was in line. Everything was back to normal after that. He said it affected 2015-16 models and was a satellite issue. Seems like most dealers are well aware at this point.

WTF; just started happening to my car today as well!

Any updates anyone?

Need radio and nav!

With everything we've been through with Enform, very not happy.
