Having the same issue starting today. Got the car back in Sept 2015. LS460 brand new. Today I turned on my car, when it got to the "warning screen" it would then automatically re-boot itself every 5 seconds. So annoying that a car this expensive would have this issue. Ridiculous quite honestly.

I just used my navigation this morning to get somewhere. Worked fine. My nav has rebooted on its own a handful times since I've owned my IS. But hopefully there are enough complaints now and bad publicity from that bloomberg article that lexus has to do a total recall and fix our nav systems. Lol

There may be updates, technical service bulletins, warranty enhancements, etc.

Maybe it is a satellite that went down that works in those regions?

I guess not a recall but to the point that lexus is obligated to fixing or upgrading our nav systems since its alot of BS to pay so much for a car and the nav system to be plagued with such problems.

Most definitely NOT a satellite issue. (Check google maps on your smart phone)
I suspect it to be a Lexus Enform server issue. When you start the car, part of the start up process would be to link up to Enform using cellular network. Somehow it's causing the vehicle's system to crash/reboot.
Disconnecting the battery would reset this cellular connection and make it seem like it's working properly, until it makes the cellular connection again and crashes.
This is all speculation on my part....

Lexus needs to recall the 2014 is350 over all these bs problems. Paid $50k for a car that's less reliable than my $18k Chevy Cruze.
